it really doesn't seem like christmas this year...
i've been home 5-6 weeks since the kids in glass houses tour and i'm still without a job. i promise myself every night 'tomorrow' i will go and find myself a job' but i have yet to keep this promise..whoops.
so the year is coming to a close and there's been alot of really good memories this year, the valencia tour, warped tour, the kids in glass houses tours, alot of fun for sure.
heres to 2009, i'll be 25 next year..maybe time to give touring a miss from now on.

10th october
its been a long time since i updated this here blog.
since june 27th, alot has happened. i did the whole warped working for we the kings, which was alot of fun. i think i was very lucky in the sense we have an awesome crew. tfair, scoot and billy really helped me out when the going got tough.
in kansas a fucking storm hit so hard the show got cancelled! everyone's tents were blowing away and being destroyed, it was one of the most intense things i have ever been apart of, but i survived (and then along with about 200 people, took a shower in the rain).
on the days off, i spent alot of time either sleeping or watching lost! of simply dreaming of lost. alot of the dude's went and did stuff but i just didn't have the energy.
i met some amazing people on tour, mostly merch guys like brent (anberlin), ziggy (academy is...), corey (reel big fish) and gilbo (ava). knowing people before the tour helped out for sure, people like phil, danny ava and danny hutto looked out for me all summer and i tried to return the favour. warped was hard work but alot of fun.
since warped i did a uk tour with we the kings and now i am home waiting for the kids in glass houses tour to start, having toured with the guys before, i know i'll have a good time and probably get very pissed, very often.
thats that.

27th june
after a few days on warped, i find myself on a day off. having some time to relax in my bunk.
during this time, i have spend most of my time listening to a band called like lions. i got introduced to them around christmas time 2004 i believe. my friend johnny hunter sent me 4 songs over the internet, and to this day i still listen to those songs and still love them.
it sucks the band broke up, i have alot of their other material and it literally gets me bummed out hearing the songs and never having chance to see them play live..
go and listen to this awesome band right here: http://www.myspace.com/likelions

12th april
omaha omaha omaha.
its the 3rd week i've been in the states, we've been through snow storms and tornados, as well as the heat of california.
tour has been pretty interesting so far, started slow, but the shows are getting better as the tour goes on. the drives are the only problem, we drove for what felt like 30 hours one day this week. its pretty unbelievable. tonight we are staying at a hotel near the venue, everyone seems real relieved about it haha.
all the bands are good hangs, sing it loud are all young guys and this is their first tour, its good to be around them, seeing people so exciting about touring is really refreshing to me and the valencia guys, its rare these days.
we did the bamboozle left festival which was really cool. spend sometime with the hit the lights guys, hung out with the audition a little which is always nice. for the second day, valencia had a day off, and they had some photoshoot arranged. due to this, i spent the 2nd day working for my good friend vinnie, who used to belong to a band called the movielife. it was good seeing him and hanging with the boys, movielife was a big part of my life when i started working for bands, so it was really good to hear those songs live again, you could see it meant alot to people there.
thats all for now, i will update this soon..maybe.
